The Spark in the Dark team will offer a memorial lantern-making workshop. Within the last year many community members were lost to us. We will provide a quiet space in which to build a simple (yet beautiful) star lantern in memory of someone who is no longer with you. You will be given the assistance and materials necessary to complete your own memorial lantern.

You may then choose to light it at home at special moments as you pass through the holidays and/or carry it in the Spark parade on January 27th and display it with its fellows at the ensuing celebration at Bosun hall. There is no cost to attend.

The next Spark in the Dark New Denver Lantern Festival is this coming January 27, 2024.
